Scope of Services

AdvisaCare was established in 1997 to meet a growing need for quality home care and home health care. From the beginning, our purpose has been simple: to provide the care management, skilled nursing and hands-on-assistance/care and companionship that many people need to remain independent and in the comfort of their home. We have designed our services to be both flexible and highly personalized.

We also offer a complementary in home visit at which a professional nurse will thoroughly assess specific needs and then set up a plan of care appropriate to the level of care evaluated. The client can arrange for as little as four (4) hours or as many as 24 hours of service seven days a week. Whether they need short-term help or are looking for long term care, AdvisaCare can staff the hours and shifts as needed.

The in home visit provides the opportunity to meet with a member of the AdvisaCare team to ask questions and obtain professional assistance in assessing specific care needs. The visit provides a time for the family, the person needing the care, and the professional nursing staff to fully explore all care requirements. Together, with the client/family a decision can be made as to which services would be most helpful and appropriate.

The in home visits will also provide the AdvisaCare scheduling manager and coordinators, who will be assigning a care provider greater insight into the personality, interests, needs and concerns of the client and their family. This personal approach is one of the things that have made AdvisaCare a leader in providing quality, private duty home care. It is also one of the reasons we are so successful in establishing a comfortable and caring relationship between our care providers and those they care for.
